Vegan Guinea Pig: Angels and Demons – Gardein edition

I've been in love with Gardein ever since I first tried their BBQ Pulled Shreds back in May. It was love at first bite. When I found out about some of their newer products I was so excited. I just knew they were going to be great.
So when I saw Gardein at Publix I was intrigued. It plainly said it was vegan (score!), and appeared to be a versatile product. Low in fat and carbs was a bonus, even if the sodium content wasn't that low (something I try to look for).

The other day I bought a package of Gardein buffalo wings to try out. I had them with cucumber sandwiches and salad. To be honest, I wasn't crazy about them on their own. The texture was good but the taste was kind of weird.
